FLUENT READING AND IRLEN SYNDROME – what if you saw VISUAL DISTORTIONS when you looked at black text and found the WHITE PAGE too bright to look at? Would you be able to keep up with Grade level reading and read fluently?
Irlen Syndrome is a visual processing difficulty that often goes undetected but is easy to help with COLOR. Eric is 8 years old and came to the Krist Samaritan Irlen Clinic, Houston/Galveston, to find out if colored, Irlen lenses could help him read more fluently and get him back up to Grade Level reading. Watch the VIDEO to see him reading with and without the Irlen color combination and listen to the comments his mom made. She also sent an email after the session “I cannot thank you enough! It was so wonderful to hear Eric actually reading. This was a life changer!”
